Morrismore: Deconstructing the Scene

          What began as a simple dream of bringing talented people together to express, create and give back has taken on a new form. The vision of the Lissen 5 series (lissen.ca) began in 2005 with cutting edge fashion, eclectic art and live local music shows held all over the city. Combining live performance with avant-garde design and beautiful visuals, the Lissen series brought something entirely new to the Vancouver scene. “Project Everywhichway”, “The Second Coming”, “All Hallows”, and “Whisper to a Scream” set the tone for the emerging vision of Morrismore.

          With the completion of the Lissen 5 series in October 2007, Morrismore branched out to host weekly live music performances at local clubs featuring up and coming, hugely talented, local, and undiscovered talent.
  With those shows under our belt, Morrismore is poised to break into something new…a new vision, a new direction, and a new flavour for the coming year.

           The Production that really helped propel Morrismore to the next level was the amazing show      Doll Parts: Porcelain Treasures of a Grim Collector. Doll Parts has given Morrismore the opportunity to take step two in their business expansion plan to create Morrismore Models, Western Canada's only alternative modeling agency!

Morrismore Productions will continue to be a premier networking opportunity for models, musicians, and artists of all kinds. By putting the power and creative control back in the hands of the artists, as we grow and  expand our business model to all facets of the entertainment genre Morrismore is striving to break the boundaries of the scene and create something magical…and rightfully so…it’s all about YOU.
