Vancouver Rape Relief and Women's Shelter is a non-profit, volunteer based organization that has operated since 1973. We provide transition housing for battered women and their children, a 24-hour rape crisis line, a women's organizing centre and public education about violence against women. We respond to over 1400 new callers and shelter 120 women plus their children each year.

Vancouver Rape Relief and Women's Shelter relies on funding from a diverse base in the community. We rely on volunteers for all of our fundraising activities therefore 100% of your donation goes directly into the operation of the transition house and crisis line.

Morrismore has sponsored the Rape Relief and Women's Shelter since 2005 with part proceeds of ticket sales from our live shows and events.

The Vancouver Pride society brings together members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender community, their friends, allies and supporters in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBT community by producing free quality, inclusive events such as the Pride Parade & Pride Week Festival Events.

Morrismore will be taking part in the 2011 Pride Parade in concert with QueerFM and Miss Samantha Mack.

The BC/Yukon Region is one of four regional offices of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – the leading national volunteer-based organization dedicated to working towards a future without breast cancer. The Foundation collaboratively funds, supports and advocates for:

• Relevant and innovative breast cancer research
• Meaningful education and awareness programs
• Early diagnosis and effective treatment
• A positive quality of life for those living with breast cancer

Our vision is a future without breast cancer.
